Universal
Wi-Fi Gateway
The Universal Wi-Fi Gateway enables Ethernet and
Serial devices without wireless capability to connect to
standards-based wireless local area networks and realize the
benefits of mobility. It connects legacy Ethernet or serial
communications stations to a wireless LAN with simplicity and
security, eliminating the time and expense of installing cable
for connectivity.
Supporting IEEE 802.11b/g/a networking standards,
the Gateway preserves existing equipment investments while
enabling flexible connectivity with legacy and serial devices
through the latest high-speed wireless networking technologies.
Providing connectivity to 802.11a/b/g networks,
the UWG is capable of providing data rates up to 54 Mbps in
flexible configurations that meet varying requirements for
unique and challenging applications and environments.

- Advanced WPA encryption
combined with WEP encryption for legacy clients protects all
communications over the WLAN.
- Connect up to 20 Ethernet
clients per Gateway.

connectivity for client and client server serial devices.
- Optimize coverage and
